Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an occupational therapist to provide independent management of patients within the Santa Clara Behavioral Health team. Qualifications

• Minimum two years of occupational therapy experience.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program with a bachelor's or master's degree and OT certification.
• California OT license, National Provider Identifier (NPI), and Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and sets treatment goals; initiates discharge planning.
• Provides direct treatment and delegates portions to support staff; coordinates with other health professionals.
• Educates patients and families on equipment use; trains in ADL adaptations as needed.
