Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferred four or more years of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound experience.
• Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or advanced prenatal imaging strongly preferred.
• Fetal echocardiography certification and/or experience.
• Mentoring sonographers or supporting ultrasound student education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead clinical resource within the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Imaging Center.
• Support workflow coordination, onboarding, and mentorship of sonography team members.
• Coordinate and facilitate ultrasound student clinical rotations, providing clinical guidance and instruction.
• Collaborate with obstetric physicians, genetic counselors, and multidisciplinary team to support prenatal diagnostic and procedural services.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasounds using appropriate techniques and protocols.
• Adjust transducers and equipment settings for optimal image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Verify patient history and evaluate test results and imaging.
• Position and transfer patients safely and use immobilization devices as needed.
• Assist physicians during specialized procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain supplies and readiness.
• Support accreditation and recertification activities.
