Job summary

Senior Neighbors Grand Rapids Center is seeking a part-time Nutritional Aide to support the center's daily nutrition operations and activities. You will assist with meal service, volunteer supervision, and program reporting, while helping develop engaging activities for seniors.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and ServSafe certification within one year of hire. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe Food Handlers Certification within 1 year.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Experience with older adults preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time.
• Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations.
• Willingness to adapt to changing duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, serving and cleanup for the nutrition program.
• Assist in supervising volunteers and staff in the meal program.
• Assist in clerical and statistical reporting of the nutrition program.
• Assist in developing activity programs and scheduling activities.
