Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years administering systems in enterprise environments.
• Strong Linux fundamentals (networking, storage, security, OS internals).
• Experience with configuration management and automation using Ansible.
• Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python).
• Experience with Red Hat-based environments (RHEL, Satellite, Capsule).
• Hands-on Nutanix HCI administration (AHV, Prism Central, Prism Element).
• Understanding of virtualization, storage, and networking concepts.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Nutanix HCI (AHV/Prism) for Linux workloads.
• Collaborate to provision and manage VMs, storage, networking, and cluster resources in Nutanix.
• Develop automation using Ansible and Bash/Python.
• Standardize configuration, patching, and deployment via IaC.
• Administer Red Hat tools like Satellite and Capsule.
• Manage authentication/authorization (OAuth, SSO, IdP).
• Support dashboards/observability with Grafana and Zabbix.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Linux systems and Nutanix infra.
• Troubleshoot complex infra across distributed environments.
• Document architecture, processes, and automation workflows.
• Contribute to automation maturity and platform modernization.
• Design and maintain enterprise Linux infra on-prem and virtualized.
