Job summary

The University of North Georgia's Nursing Department seeks a 12-month, full-time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to teach in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the Gainesville campus. Preference given to those with a master's in nursing and teaching experience.

The successful candidate will contribute to didactic, clinical and laboratory instruction, with some travel to clinical sites in the metro-Atlanta and North Georgia region.

Qualifications

• Masters in nursing required.
• Minimum of two years' recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current license in Georgia as a registered professional nurse required.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate students enrolled in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Teaching schedule may require some travel to clinical sites in the metro-Atlanta area and North Georgia region.
• This position includes expectations for teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Responsibilities include didactic, clinical, and/or laboratory instruction, and clinical site visits in regional health care settings.
