Job summary

The University of Texas Medical Branch in Angleton, TX seeks a Registered Nurse with a BSN to join the Nursing & Care Management team on the night shift. Qualifications

• RN with bachelor’s in nursing and four years of clinical RN experience.
• Must possess and maintain a current RN license or valid temporary permit to practice in Texas.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents daily patient care.
• Executes physician orders and administers medications following UTMB policies.
• Provides patient/family teaching and health promotion.
• Coordinates care with inter-disciplinary team and ensures safety and continuity of care.
• Demonstrates leadership in implementing evidence-based standards of practice.
