Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston is seeking a Nurse Clinician III (RN) for Interventional Radiology on a PRN basis. The successful candidate will hold a Texas RN license with current BLS and bring at least two years of clinical RN experience to this specialty area.

As a competent clinician, you will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, provide patient-centered care, and handle emergent situations typical of IR units while supporting the department's standards and policies.

Qualifications

• RN with clinical RN experience. Two years of experience preferred.
• Texas RN license required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Interventional Radiology under the supervision of physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
• Manage emergencies and contingencies commonly seen in the interventional radiology setting.
• Serve as a resource for Nurse Clinician I or II.
