Job summary

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (AANA) or eligible for certification.
• Active RN licensure in good standing.
• CRNA verification by the state Board of Nursing.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS and NALS certifications current.
• Ability to pass hospital and unit orientation.
• Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical, obstetrical, and other procedures.
• Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative period.
• Work under the direction of an anesthesiologist or surgeon.
• Maintain patient data confidentiality and compliance with medical standards.
