Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. in the United States seeks a senior nuclear engineer to support the Clean Energy Center (CEC) operations and perform advanced engineering tasks with decisive technical input on safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability.

You will lead technical teams, conduct independent analyses, ensure compliance with codes, and contribute to design modifications and problem solving to meet regulatory and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience (e.g. duty team, inspection lead).
• Maintain access requirements and pass medical examinations as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear engineering and technical tasks in support of CECs
• Conduct independent research, reviews, studies and analyses for regulatory/technical projects
• Provide technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement nuclear engineering activities for safety and reliability
• Ensure plans and specifications follow standard design criteria, practices and codes
• Offer technical consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
• Oversee task management of engineering issues
• Recommend concepts to improve performance, reduce costs, and comply with codes
