Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 6 years of nuclear or related industry experience.
• Associate's degree with 8 years of nuclear or related industry experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 9 years of nuclear or related experience (6 years at exempt level).
• Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems for the specific functional area.
• Maintain access requirements and pass medical examinations per position duties.
• Meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 standards for selection, qualification, and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Provide initial or complete task management of engineering issues.
• Ensure proper configuration management and compliance with design criteria and codes.
• Carry out independent research, reviews, and analyses for regulatory projects.
• Recommend equipment and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Support outage activities and emergency response as required.
