elemed, a medical device innovator, seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to own new device concepts from concept to market. You will work directly with the leadership team, enjoying freedom to shape invention with responsibility and no unnecessary committees.

Progression is built in, with potential to lead an NPI function and even take on direct reports within a couple of years. SolidWorks experience and a background in device materials are valued.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of product development experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience taking innovative concepts through design controls into the market.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modelling and drawings.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Lead cross-functional product development projects end-to-end.
• Translate clinical and customer needs into design requirements and manage risk.
• Build prototypes, develop drawings, select materials, and work with suppliers.
• Design and execute verification activities and test methods.
• Collaborate with clinicians, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Contribute to IP activities and patent strategy discussions.
• Support post-launch design/process changes and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical reference.
