Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our Not-for-Profit practice in the Midwest, with locations including Minnesota and Illinois. You will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements, work closely with clients, and prepare financial statements and disclosures while evaluating internal controls.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 2 years of audit experience, and CPA exam eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters
• Assessing the design and implementation of internal controls
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA exam eligibility (preferred)
