Job summary

Acentech Incorporated seeks a senior- to principal-level consultant to join the Noise and Vibration team across our U.S. offices (Cambridge, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Fairfax, VA; Los Angeles, CA) and staff locations (Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; Charlottesville, VA; Huntsville, AL).

Remote locations will also be considered. You will manage projects, communicate with clients, lead proposals, conduct measurements and modeling, and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or science with acoustics and/or vibration specialization or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental noise consulting and project management.
• Experience with acoustics/vibration measurement instrumentation and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects for diverse noise and vibration projects.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Lead proposal development and client engagement.
• Conduct measurements and modeling of environmental noise and vibration.
• Prepare technical reports and deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal R&D.
