Job summary

Anagh Technologies Inc seeks a hands-on Lead/Sr Dev (Lead Node Engineer) to act as the technical authority for strategic initiatives, defining architecture and roadmaps while leading engineering teams.

This role is heavily backend-focused (60-70%) with Node.js/TypeScript and optional frontend work (30-40%) using React. Early work emphasizes technical discovery, solution design, and laying the groundwork for scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong TypeScript across the software stack.
• Deep experience building APIs/services in TypeScript/Node.js.
• Frontend experience with React for occasional UI work.
• Hands-on AWS cloud engineering with Lambda, ECS and S3.
• Practical DynamoDB experience.
• Solid understanding of JWTs and OAuth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead developer and technical authority for the initiative.
• Design resilient, cloud-native architectures and define roadmaps.
• Decompose problems into clear technical plans and actions.
• Define and negotiate API/service contracts with partner teams.
• Ensure solutions meet security, resiliency, and maintainability standards.
• Identify dependencies, risks, sequencing, and trade-offs across backend and cloud systems.
• Promote a Security First mindset across changes.
• Remain hands-on in backend development (~60-70%), assist UI when needed.
• Architect and build services using TypeScript/Node.js, with potential Java support.
• Review code and enforce engineering best practices across repos.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to shape scope and priorities.
• Help determine upcoming initiatives based on readiness and risk.
