Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Principal Node Development Product Engineer in Boise, Idaho to drive DRAM readiness and translate silicon behavior into product impact. You will own deep process-aware knowledge and work with process integration, device, yield, test, design, and manufacturing teams.

You will guide test content, monitor early failure mechanisms, and provide technical leadership to the node-development community, enabling robust next-generation DRAM products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
  • Extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing or technology development, with direct exposure to DRAM.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor process integration and device physics.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large silicon datasets and extract actionable insights; hands-on with lab tools and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Own deep process‑aware product knowledge and identify node risks.
  • Collaborate with design, process integration, test and device teams to debug yield and performance issues and converge on root cause.
  • Translate process changes into product impact assessments (PPA), yield, reliability and test coverage.
  • Provide technical leadership within the node‑development community and communicate complex issues clearly.
  • Support smooth node readiness, learning cycles and factory ramp.
