Job summary

Jobgether SRL, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks an NLP AI Engineer in the United States to design, optimize, and deploy enterprise-scale NLP and LLM solutions.

You will work across model architecture, fine-tuning, distributed training, evaluation, inference, and production deployment, collaborating with researchers, engineers, and product teams to deliver production-ready AI systems.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in CS/AI/ML/NLP or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in AI, ML, NLP, or LLM engineering.
• Expert Python with PyTorch and transformer architectures.
• Experience fine-tuning and deploying LLMs in production.
• Distributed training tech: FSDP, DeepSpeed ZeRO, etc.
• Experience with RLHF, DPO, PPO, or similar techniques.
• Cloud platforms for ML: AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong ML/NLP theory, evaluation, and MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, fine-tune, optimize, and deploy LLMs with SFT/LoRA/QLoRA/PEFT.
• Architect scalable distributed training pipelines on GPUs.
• Develop datasets and synthetic data generation pipelines.
• Optimize GPU training, inference, and model serving infra.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines and vector search.
• Develop benchmarking, safety testing, and Responsible AI evals.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, data scientists, and product teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and establish best practices for LLM dev.
• Mentor junior AI engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
• Evaluate emerging NLP research and foundation models for innovation.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, and reliability standards.
