Job summary

Nissan of Louisville is seeking a Senior Diagnostic Technician to diagnose complex electrical and computer-controlled systems on Nissan vehicles. You will also repair, test, and collaborate with teammates to ensure quality work.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, experience with factory tools, and the ability to mentor fellow technicians in a busy shop. Training and advancing Nissan systems knowledge are encouraged, with a modern diagnostic environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years automotive repair experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working on Japanese vehicles; Nissan experience preferred.
• Nissan Master Certification preferred; ASE L1 certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, drivability, and computer-related problems.
• Use Nissan diagnostic equipment and scanners to identify issues.
• Track CAN communications, wiring, sensor faults, and module concerns.
• Perform ADAS calibrations when required.
• Mentor other technicians and explain findings to service advisors.
