Job summary

Harvest Midstream Company is seeking a Senior NGL Trader to optimize value for NGL assets, including ethane, propane, and natural gasoline. The role interfaces with producers, processors, refiners, and traders to maximize commercial margins and manage risk.

You will develop market intelligence, execute strategic trades, and oversee flow assurance across Harvest's NGL operations, while coordinating with scheduling and back-office teams to ensure accurate settlements and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in NGL marketing, trading, commercial optimization, or related energy marketing activities.
• Strong understanding of NGL markets, including fractionation, storage, transportation, export markets, and pricing.
• Proven contract negotiation experience involving NGL purchase, sales, transportation, storage, and service agreements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market opportunities and develop commercial strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and business development skills with the ability to build and maintain industry relationships.
• Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market fundamentals, commercial risk, and value optimization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic market environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maximize value and flow for Harvest-owned NGLs through optimal marketing strategies.
• Develop relationships with producers, processors, refiners, marketers, and end users.
• Analyze NGL market fundamentals, including supply, demand, and export markets.
• Monitor regulatory developments and market events affecting NGL values.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and manage risk across trading activities.
• Execute physical and financial trades for propane, butane, natural gasoline, and derivatives.
• Work with scheduling, operations, and back-office teams to ensure accurate invoicing and settlements.
