AbbVie is seeking an experienced neuroscientist to join our Discovery Psychiatry group. The role focuses on developing data analysis workflows and applying machine learning to identify in vitro biomarkers that predict neural circuit modulation and behavioral outcomes in vivo.

Qualifications

• PhD in neuroscience or related field with strong experimental/computational background.
• Experience applying quantitative methods to complex biological data.
• Hands-on experience with electrophysiology or neuronal activity assays is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform hiPSC-based neuronal activity assays to support target validation and compound profiling.
• Develop computational workflows to analyze multimodal datasets.
• Integrate data across assays using ML-based approaches to identify translational biomarkers.
• Present findings to cross-functional teams and mentor junior scientists.
