Vanderbilt University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience to teach foundational undergraduate courses and mentor students starting in the 2027 spring semester.

The candidate will contribute to the Neuroscience major, integrate neuroimmunology and neurogenetics topics, and participate in advising and core-curriculum teaching within the College of Arts & Science.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Neuroscience or related discipline (awarded no later than January 1, 2027).
• Experience in undergraduate teaching and advising/mentoring.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development and teaching across courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach foundational courses in the undergraduate Neuroscience BS degree.
• Advise and mentor Neuroscience majors and contribute to program advising.
• Support the Arts & Science Core curriculum and first-year Core offerings.
