Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ invites applications for a Research Engineer III in our Neuromodulation Research Department. Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field is required.
• Five (5) years experience in electrical, biomedical, or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Prefer Doctorate of Science in related field with ten (10) years experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement biomedical engineering experiments with independence.
• Develop methods and automatic data collection programs; design fixtures and test apparatuses.
• Maintain inventory and budgeting within fiscal limits; calibrate equipment and train staff.
• Prepare test reports, manuscripts, and grant applications; present findings at meetings.
