Qualifications

• PhD or Master's with 5+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Preferred: experience in formal verification, model checking, SAT/SMT, Lean.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement scalable neuro-symbolic systems integrating formal reasoning with GenAI.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and science teams and external customers.
• Enhance formal reasoning capabilities for GenAI and agentic apps, incl. guardrails and verification.
• Identify opportunities to apply formal reasoning across AWS services and domains.
• Own end-to-end science lifecycle from research to production deployment with metrics.
• Mentor junior scientists and engineers to raise the team's technical rigor.
• Publish findings at top venues, file patents, or contribute to open-source.
