Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Highly Specialist Neuro-Oncology Occupational Therapist (Band 7) to lead advanced clinical practice and deliver autonomous care in ward and outpatient settings.

You will provide holistic assessments for patients with CNS tumours, develop specialised rehabilitation programmes, and contribute to education and research initiatives at the Royal Marsden School of Cancer Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Salary ranges from £66,274 to £73,496 per annum inclusive of HCAS.

Qualifications

• Autonomous practitioner with ability to work independently in ward and outpatient settings.
• Advanced clinical reasoning to assess complex neuro-oncology patients.
• Client-centred rehabilitation planning tailored to CNS tumour patients.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and oversee all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
• Provide holistic and advanced assessment of patients with CNS tumours and complex needs.
• Develop and implement bespoke therapeutic rehabilitation programmes.
• Lead data collection and contribute to research/publication.
• Contribute to education programmes within Royal Marsden School of Cancer Nursing & Rehabilitation.
