Job summary

Peregrine is seeking a Software Engineer, Networking to design and build the control plane and automation systems for scalable network connectivity across customer environments.

You will extend APIs for self-service networking, automate workflows with Python, Terraform and Pulumi, and own reliability, scalability, and observability of networking systems. In-office roles in SF/NYC preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software, infrastructure, or network engineering at scale.
• Proficient in Python or Go and building production systems.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VPNs.
• Experience with cloud platforms and networking constructs.
• Experience with distributed systems and automation.
• Willing to work in-office in SF or NYC.

Responsibilities

• Design and build control plane and automation systems powering network connectivity at scale.
• Extend and improve APIs and services for self-service networking.
• Automate infrastructure workflows across AWS and customer environments using Python, Terraform and Pulumi.
• Own and improve reliability, scalability, and observability of networking systems.
• Lead debugging of complex connectivity issues across distributed systems.
• Contribute to architecture and collaborate cross-functionally to improve end-to-end connectivity.
