Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Software & Systems Architect to join the NIC Software/Firmware Architecture group to shape the next generation data-center DPU. This role partners with hardware and software teams and external customers to define architecture and features.

Responsibilities include designing the SW stack from applications to hardware interface, driving HW features, and researching networks, AI workloads, security, HPC, and offloads. Excellent communication and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, CS, or EE or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of shown experience in the field.
• Proven track record to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Outstanding ability to work independently, interact with customers, and guide R&D teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to drive innovative solutions for complex requirements and issues.

Be part of a team crafting the upcoming data-center DPU generation with hardware and software architects, R&D teams, and external customers. We have assembled a team of outstanding people, whose mission is to both push the frontiers of what is possible today and to define the next-generation platforms of tomorrow.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Define next-generation DPU/SmartNIC architecture and features for computing clusters and data-centers.

• Define the SW stack from application level to HW interface, ensuring flawless integration.

• Collaborate closely with HW architects to define new HW features and SW-HW interfaces for diverse use cases.

• Conduct research in network protocols, new network technologies, networking drivers, accelerations, and offloading of various network-related tasks.

What We Need to See:

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
