Job summary

ETHEREUM TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a senior network engineer to ensure the integrity of our networking and communications systems across multiple locations. You will engineer, program and maintain configurations and related applications, driving improvements and knowledge sharing within the team.

The role emphasizes hands-on routing, VPNs, cloud platforms, and network management tools, with strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication essential to success.

Qualifications

• 10 years relevant network experience including hands-on configurations / operational support.
• CCNP certification is a plus
• Hands on experience with routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP
• Strong understanding of Wireshark captures.
• Cloud technologies (Google/Equinix/Azure) – Google and Azure Clouds experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for engineering and integrity of the networking and communication system's software, hardware, and configurations.
• Responsible for identifying, engineering/designing and programming of networking infrastructure and communication applications.
• Develops knowledge base documents and conducts knowledge transfer among engineering team.
• Assists in the review and evaluation of project requests and recommends appropriate action.
• Administers installation and repair services.
• Responsible for first level problem resolution for all health system locations.
• Gives guidance and direction to engineering team and outside service technicians.
• Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Job description

Job Description :

Ensures integrity of the network devices, communication systems software, hardware. Identifies, programs and maintains all network and communication applications. Assists and participates in the review and design of new or existing network infrastructure and systems. Develops and conducts in-service training on new applications.

Highly Preferred:

• 10 years relevant network experience including hands-on configurations / operational support.
• CCNP certification is a plus
• Extensive hands-on experience with routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP
• Strong understanding of Wireshark captures.
• VPNs
• Citrix Load Balancers
• Cloud technologies (Google/Equinix/Azure)
  • Hands on experience with Google and Azure Clouds is a must!
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • VPC peering / VPN concepts, configuration /troubleshooting
  • Must be able to navigate log-explorer and filter on flows in question.
  • Strong understanding of Equinix Partner interconnects
  • Google native load balancers
  • Proficiency in programming language Terraform
  • Proficiency in code management tool Git
• Use of Automation tools (Python) is a plus
• ACI - is a plus
• Wireless (Cisco) is a plus
• Network Management tools (SolarWinds)
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
