Job summary

REALIGN LLC is seeking a Senior Network Test / Validation Engineer in Santa Clara (onsite). You will lead large-scale testing of VxLAN/EVPN, MPLS overlays, QoS and RoCE/RoCEv2, using IxNetwork to emulate traffic and validate performance metrics.

The role requires expert IxNetwork experience, Python-based automation, and strong protocol knowledge (BGP EVPN, OSPF/IS-IS, ECMP). This is a hands-on, highly scalable testing position in a data-center context.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in network testing/validation or performance engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with VxLAN/EVPN and MPLS overlays.
• Strong QoS design and validation capabilities.
• Experience testing RoCE / RoCEv2 environments.
• Expert IxNetwork experience at large scale.
• Python-based test automation experience.
• Advanced protocol knowledge: BGP EVPN, OSPF/IS-IS, ECMP.

Responsibilities

• Perform solution and scale testing for VxLAN/EVPN, MPLS overlays, QoS, RoCE.
• Design and execute high-scale traffic and protocol emulation using IxNetwork.
• Validate throughput, latency, jitter, loss and convergence at scale.
• Test QoS behaviors: classification, queuing, shaping, policing, congestion handling.
• Validate RoCE lossless fabrics and related congestion behavior.
• Automate test execution and reporting via Python/REST APIs.
• Produce clear test plans, results and defect reports.
