Amentum is seeking a Senior Network/Systems Engineer to maintain design/integrity of program systems and oversee the Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS). The role builds scripts, assists team members, and patches servers (Linux/Windows).
Responsibilities include deploying servers, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, monitoring performance, and automating tasks. Travel worldwide may be required; security clearance TS/SCI w/ Poly is required.
Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a senior Network/Systems Engineer responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of program systems. The candidate will oversee the program’s Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS). The candidate will build scripts, provide expert technical assistance to team members, and build and patch servers (Linux and Windows). The candidate should have excellent networking skills, including an understanding of IP Schema, scripting, hardware, and other aspects of building and maintaining networks and systems. This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Office Setting, but may be required to install sensors and cabling, requiring use of ladders and lifting up to 20 pounds.
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Poly
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in relevant area, such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other computer or information technology-related field.
Minimum Years of Experience: (Bachelors + 5-7 years); (Masters + 3-5 years); (PhD + 1-2 years)
