Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking Senior Network Services professionals to support mission-critical DoD-focused efforts in enterprise networking. You will work across multi-vendor platforms, enforce DISA STIGs, and automate network reviews using Python and SQL, while collaborating in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with advanced degree and substantial DoD experience or equivalent.

Qualifications

• US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• Advanced degree and extensive DoD experience or equivalent with DoD-focused background.
• Experience in DoD environments and enterprise network architectures.

Responsibilities

• Apply and enforce DISA STIGs across enterprise network infrastructure.
• Operate in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Avaya) ensuring interoperability.
• Automate network deployment reviews using Python/SQL and build tooling.
• Collaborate within team and manage independent projects with minimal supervision.
• Review design documents and translate specifications into compliant configurations.
• Hold an active Cisco CCNA certification (CCNP preferred).
• Audit third-party deployments for security and compliance.
• Research emerging network innovations under tight timelines.
• Use automated tooling to audit configurations and report security posture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
