Job summary

OBXtek is seeking a Network Security Systems Instructor to support a US Department of State contract. The role requires clear communication of complex security topics to professionals with varying backgrounds and a strong foundation in NSS disciplines such as video systems, data center management, or cyber countermeasures.

The instructor will deliver hands-on training, develop materials, and mentor other instructors, with emphasis on adult learning principles and team collaboration. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent technical training; years of experience may substitute education.
• 6+ years in installing, programming, troubleshooting, and repairing NSS components (network gear, CCTV, fiber, etc.).
• 3+ years in public speaking or instruction to groups of ten or more.
• Current professional certifications supporting NSS systems.
• 3+ years of DoS installation requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple training topics across 25+ days of course materials.
• Complete instructor qualification training and demonstrate instructional techniques.
• Present hands-on training, evaluate learners via exams and labs.
• Prepare classrooms and labs, manage training materials and equipment.
