Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Network Technology Specialist in Charleston, WV to design, deploy and optimize Palo Alto Prisma Access SSE, SD-WAN and Cisco Catalyst/SDSAN solutions for secure, resilient, high-performing enterprise connectivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align outcomes with business goals.

The role requires 6–10 years of hands-on network security experience, CCNP Enterprise certification, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years hands-on experience with network security, VPNs, QoS, and circuit lifecycle coordination.
• Strong design expertise in WAN, Cisco SD-WAN Viptela and IPsec.
• Proven ability to design, deploy, and troubleshoot large WAN solutions with strong communication.
• Good understanding of Prisma Access SSE or SSE products and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• CCNP Enterprise certification is required.
• SASE/SSE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of WAN requirements including Cisco SD-WAN and Prisma Access SSE.
• Develop HLD and deployment plans and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Ensure devices are upgraded and data kept current in databases and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain network standards without impacting business.
• Coordinate with service providers for quotes, circuit renewal, delivery, upgrades, and SLAs.
