Job summary

Toyota Financial Services Technology team is seeking a Network Security Manager to oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of network security measures. You will protect our infrastructure against cyber threats and lead cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications include a CS/IT degree, extensive security experience, and relevant certifications. Leadership, cloud security, and incident response skills are highly valued. This role is based in Plano, TX with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in network security with enterprise design/implementation of security controls.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, architecture, and infrastructure components.
• Proficient with network security tools such as firewalls, IDPS, VPNs, and SIEM solutions.
• Certifications like CISSP, CCSK, CCNP Security, CEH are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex issues into solutions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with cloud security, containerization, and microservices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead design and deployment of security solutions (micro segmentation, firewalls, IDPS, VPNs, access control).
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with teams to weave security into network architecture.
• Provide mentorship to network security engineers and analysts.
• Stay current on threats, technologies, and trends in network security.
• Participate in incident response and forensic activities as needed.
• Create and maintain documentation for network security architecture and processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to validate security effectiveness.
