Job summary

Sentinel Technologies is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and support secure network solutions for mid-to-enterprise clients. You will work hands-on with Cisco devices and security products across multiple platforms, delivering trusted, secure networks.

The role requires extensive Cisco experience, CCNP or higher, and willingness to travel between sites. This full-time position offers strong benefits with remote work flexibility when not at client locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches is required.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing large scale network security solutions.
• CCNP Certification or equivalent manufacture certification or higher is preferred.
• Experience with Cisco Security products such as FDT, FMC, AMP, Umbrella.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support secure network solutions for client environments.
• Work hands-on with Cisco routers and switches to optimize and secure network infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewall solutions.
• Architect and implement large-scale network security solutions (3+ years of experience required).
• Configure Cisco Security products such as ISE, FDT, FMC, AMP, and Umbrella.
• Perform migrations and upgrades across various network and security platforms.
• Implement wireless networks using Cisco WLCs in centralized and converged deployments.
• Work with Cisco ACI and SD-WAN (experience a plus).
• Provide exceptional customer support and act as trusted advisor to clients.
