Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) seeks a full-time Network Security Engineer to join our team in East Peoria, IL, or other U.S. offices.

The role blends hands-on operational support with project work to strengthen security posture and ensure reliable services. You will provide daily support for firewall and network policy services, perform NAC governance with Cisco ISE, and lead initiatives for network segmentation and policy quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with firewall management and network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with NAC governance using Cisco ISE.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support and maintenance for firewall and network policy services.
• Perform NAC governance activities using Cisco ISE.
• Execute network improvement and risk reduction initiatives, incl. segmentation and hardware refresh.
• Manage application protection and proxy policy activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across firewall, cloud policy, and other products.
• Conduct testing and QA for changes before production release.
• Assist Product Owners in resolving technical matters and implementing firewall policy and network posture elements.
