Job summary

Integral Federal seeks a Senior Network Administrator to support the PL ALTESS environment, focusing on Windows servers, SQL, and virtualization within a mixed customer base.

You will work with the Windows team to deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain networks, while leading efforts to implement new network solutions and document procedures. A DoD Secret clearance is required, with strong Cisco and Palo Alto expertise.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ experience designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining complex networking solutions.
• Three or more years’ experience configuring, updating, maintaining, administering, and migrating Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Three or more years’ experience with Network Management, Analysis, and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Palo Alto Panorama, Men and Mice, etc.
• Five or more years’ experience configuring, updating, maintaining, and administering Cisco technologies: Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K, Catalyst switches, ASR/ISR routers, and Firepower.
• Three years’ experience or working knowledge of SW Defined Networking.
• Three or more years' experience creating, maintaining, following SOPs for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and problem resolution.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Windows team to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support servers for a mixed customer environment.
• Lead strategies to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support networks for multiple customer environments.
• Plan, execute and implement new network implementations.
• Create and maintain team technical instructions, SOPs, and policies as needed.
• Monitor and tune system and network performance, ensure ongoing operation, harden the network and report security and operational status.
• Recommend improvements and manage new SW/HW integrations with utilization reports for problem solving.
• Support lifecycle of vendor equipment in datacenter including firmware version control and preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrate and implement technologies to expand and upgrade the environment.
