Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Network Security Engineer in Denver, CO to support enterprise security efforts and lead security initiatives across domains. You will function as a subject matter expert, design and implement systems, and mentor team members while partnering with cross-functional groups.

The role requires hands-on experience with BGP, DDoS mitigation, and cloud security deployments (Akamai, Cloudflare).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with BGP design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with NetScout Arbor hardware and DDoS mitigation technologies.
• Experience deploying network security solutions into cloud-based networks like Akamai and Cloudflare.
• Network Security or Cloud Security is a plus.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Web Application Firewall (WAF) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a subject matter expert for one or more engineering initiatives
• Designs, develops, and implements systems to protect boundaries, harden systems and secure data
• Drives complex security projects to ensure on-time delivery and identifies risks and vulnerabilities
• Leverages broad knowledge of information security technologies and processes to grow knowledge
• Leads the identification, definition, and documentation of system security requirements
• Leads work with stakeholders with varying priorities to negotiate paths forward
• Drives the development and execution of test plans to produce quantitative results and develop multiple solutions
