Tundra Technical Solutions in Waltham, MA is seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer on a contract basis to support network operations, firewall administration, secure remote-access solutions, and infrastructure security activities for a distributed enterprise environment.

Responsibilities include administering SonicWall firewalls, implementing and troubleshooting firewall rules, managing connectivity across locations, and performing network diagnostics and incident response.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Network and Security Operations experience.
• Strong SonicWall administration experience.
• Firewall policy management and troubleshooting.
• TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP.

We are seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer to support network operations, firewall administration, secure remote-access solutions, and infrastructure security activities for a distributed enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support SonicWall firewalls.
• Implement and troubleshoot firewall rule changes.
• Manage network connectivity across multiple locations.
• Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support secure remote access solutions.
• Review and implement security-related configuration changes.
• Assist with privileged administrative activities.
• Support network and security operational incidents.
• Participate in infrastructure transition and stabilization activities.
• Create and maintain network and security documentation.
• Work with customer security and infrastructure teams to improve operational maturity.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of Network and Security Operations experience.
• Strong SonicWall administration experience.
• Firewall policy management and troubleshooting.
• TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP.
• VPN and remote access technologies.
• Network monitoring and diagnostics.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $39.30/hour - $61.40/hour.
