Qualifications

Job Summary:

The Senior Network Security Engineer, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will join our NetPro team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of advanced network and network security solutions, supporting enterprise-level infrastructures.

What You Will Do:

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet technologies, as well as a deep understanding of network architecture and security systems, including web application firewalls (WAFs).

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement network and network security solutions for enterprise clients
• Configure and deploy network infrastructure (routing, switching) and security systems
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and web application firewalls (WAFs)
• Perform parameterization and optimization of network and security systems
• Participate in architecture design and technical planning of complex solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security incidents
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients for project delivery and support
• Ensure best practices in network performance, scalability, and security
• Contribute to documentation and technical guidelines

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer / Network Security Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with: Cisco networking technologies (routing & switching)
• Strong hands-on experience with: Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, etc.)
• Experience in network security implementations (firewalls, VPNs, WAF)
• Solid understanding of network design and architecture
• Experience in implementation and parameterization of network & security systems
• Ability to work on complex, enterprise-level projects
• CCNP, NSE 7 or equivalent certifications will be considered a plus
