Job summary

You will investigate security event data from multiple systems to identify threats, support IT security policy development, and participate in on-call rotation to respond quickly to incidents.

You will implement and maintain security tools, assess vulnerabilities, collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations, and produce detailed reports with trends and metrics.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as an IT Security Analyst or Network Engineer.
• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are highly preferred.
• Experience with API development and SOC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze system logs and security event data to identify threats.
• Evaluate systems and applications for vulnerabilities and risks.
• Implement and maintain security tools to protect against cyber threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration and system integrity.
• Provide detailed security reports, including trends and metrics.
• Stay updated on the latest security enhancements and propose improvements.
• Assist in creating and updating IT security policies and procedures.
• Support security solutions managed by the IT Security Team.
• Ensure cybersecurity requirements are met in contractual agreements.
• Proven expertise in analyzing logs and identifying security threats.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
