Metron seeks a Senior Network & Infrastructure Architect to serve as a senior technical authority for enterprise network architecture, secure enclave design, and large-scale infrastructure projects in Reston, VA. The role involves modernization efforts, design reviews, and supporting North America operations with a focus on security, resilience, and scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience architecting, implementing, or operating enterprise network environments.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with enterprise networking, including switching, routing, wireless, VPN, DNS, and security operations.
• Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and with hybrid connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design for enterprise LAN, WAN, data center, and cloud-connected networks.
• Design secure enclave connectivity patterns and encrypted link strategies in classified environments.
• Architect hybrid connectivity between on-premises, secure infrastructure, and major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Serve as principal technical authority for complex network, infrastructure, and security escalations.
• Coordinate with vendors, cybersecurity, and program teams on major infrastructure initiatives.
