Job summary

NVIDIA's Global Network Visibility (GNV) team is building a scalable platform that converts topology, telemetry, and measurements into trusted, self-service insights. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will steer cross‑domain decisions, define durable interfaces, and guide buy/build tradeoffs to ensure a credible, adopted platform.

You will lead architecture across topology, configuration, telemetry, and observability, mentor engineers, and collaborate with teams to improve network health,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience architecting/operating large-scale platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or a comparable language.
• Deep expertise in network topology, telemetry, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Set the architecture for a unified platform spanning topology, configuration, telemetry, and self-service experiences.
• Build an authoritative network model connecting topology, overlays, configurations, and service dependencies.
• Define a telemetry and measurement strategy across reachability tests, streaming signals, and capacity data.
• Deliver intuitive health, path, blast-radius, and self-service exploration products for customers.
• Establish interfaces, data contracts, and standards to enable cross-team contributions.
• Drive cross-functional roadmaps and mentor engineers through critical designs.
