Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Lead Network Modeler to lead the development of advanced network optimization models for strategic supply chain decisions. This on-site role requires transforming business questions into tractable models that guide network design, greenfield analysis, and capacity planning.

You will collaborate with business leaders, ensure data quality, and present results with clear tradeoffs to senior stakeholders. This role shapes modeling capability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with commercial network optimization software.
• Proven experience in greenfield analysis, network design studies, and strategic optimization.
• Strong business acumen and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Experience translating business questions into actionable modeling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build large, complex network optimization models for strategic studies.
• Translate business questions into modeling approaches that support decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, data needs, and constraints.
• Gather, validate, and improve data; close data gaps with partners.
• Communicate assumptions, tradeoffs, and results clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Develop reusable modeling frameworks and coach other modelers.
