Job summary

Oracle is seeking an Infrastructure Network Planner for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to expand and scale our global fiber and data center strategy. You will be part of the Global Network Planning Group, shaping network infrastructure, market presence, and vendor relationships with fiber providers.

You will lead data center partner selection, negotiate connectivity deals, build TCO models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fiber strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

  • 6-10+ years of experience in telecom, data center, or cloud infrastructure industries with demonstrated experience in network planning.
  • Extensive knowledge of Internet interconnection, submarine cables, wavelengths, and fiber.
  • Strong understanding of data center operations, services, and industry trends.
  • Experience in data center site selection and evaluation processes.
  • Strong negotiation skills for fiber agreements, IP transit, wavelengths, and dark fiber contracts.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling for deal evaluation and TCO analysis.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Excel, PowerPoint, and Confluence.
  • Willingness to travel for site due diligence and industry conferences.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on creating win-win scenarios in long-term partnerships.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $83,000 - $166,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
