Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Analyst with TS/SCI polygraph level clearance to lead advanced access discovery and network forensics across DNI/DNR environments. You will apply XKS-Genesis scripting, DX workflows, and programmatic tools to optimize analytics and craft technical documentation using Jira and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, CS, CE or related technical discipline with 7+ years cyber ops, network analysis or data engineering OR Master’s with 5+ years of relevant experience or HS Diploma with 11+ years of specialized experience.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and packet analysis.
• Experience developing and automating SIGINT/cyber analytics.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead access discovery, enablement, link analysis, and network forensics across DNI/DNR sources.
• Develop and refine custom analytic capabilities using XKS-Genesis scripting and DX workflows.
• Document analytic workflows and communicate findings using Jira/Confluence.

ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED

In this high-stakes role, you will leverage deep tradecraft and query expertise to spearhead access discovery, enablement, link analysis, and network forensic investigations across DNI/DNR target environments. You won't just run routine queries—you’ll harness XKS-Genesis scripting, utilize DX workflows, and deploy programmatic tools to optimize analytics, build custom techniques, and enhance computer information systems. Working collaboratively, you will synthesize complex intelligence, present clear analytic findings, and build technical documentation using the Atlassian suit (Jira, Confluence). The annual base salary range for this role is $154,000-$182,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Required Skills

• Tradecraft Querying: Deep operational experience leveraging tradecraft and executing queries for target exploration.
• Access Discovery & Enablement: Demonstrated proficiency in access discovery, enablement techniques, link analysis, and network forensics across DNI and DNR data sources.
• XKS-Genesis & Analytics Scripting: Direct hands-on experience using XKS-Genesis scripting and DX workflows to build and refine custom analytic capabilities.
• Programmatic Optimization: Practical scripting or programmatic skills (such as Python or Shell) used to optimize analytics, enhance computer information systems, and develop novel analytical techniques.
• Analytic Documentation & Atlassian Tooling: Proven ability to document analytic workflows, synthesize complex findings, and communicate technical intelligence using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 7+ years of professional experience in cyber operations, network analysis, or data engineering OR Master’s Degree in a related field, PLUS 5+ years of relevant professional experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 11+ years of specialized technical experience in lieu of a degree.

Desired Skills

Deep understanding of network protocols, packet analysis, and internet infrastructure architecture.

Experience developing and automating custom SIGINT/cyber analytics to streamline high-volume data exploitation.

Strong presentation skills with experience delivering operational briefs to senior mission leads and inter-agency partners.
