Job summary

Navstar Inc. is seeking a highly skilled network engineer with active TS/SCI clearance to support mission-critical programs in the National Security arena.

The role requires deep experience with Cisco and Palo Alto products, routing, switching, and firewall troubleshooting. Applicants should have substantial subnetting and OSI layer expertise, vendor product familiarity, and the ability to work on-call and travel up to 25% (CONUS/OCONUS as needed).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years with Cisco hardware/software.
• 5+ years with Palo Alto hardware/software.
• Experience diagnosing routers, switches, firewalls.
• Deep knowledge of IP subnetting, VLANs, OSI layers.
• Experience with various vendor networking products.
• Understanding of copper and fiber media and connectors.
• On-call availability and travel up to 25%.
• Senior/Expert levels require DoD-appropriate certifications.
