Job summary

Set of X in Fort Meade, MD is seeking network engineers with an active TS/SCI clearance. This role emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and delivering high‑quality network services for government clients in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines.

You will support virtual and classroom network infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, implement STIG guidance, and harden systems. Required: CCNA, Cisco hardware, TCP/IP, Linux and Windows, packet capture, monitoring tools, and VMware VSphere/VCenter

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 8+ years network systems engineering experience required.
• CCNA certification required at minimum.
• Familiarity with packet capture and network analysis tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions and VMWare/VSphere/VCenter strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support virtual learning network infrastructure to meet course requirements.
• Support classroom network infrastructure to meet course requirements.
• Troubleshoot network issues and recommend modifications to optimize performance while following security policies.
• Implement STIG guidance, hardening and maintaining network systems.
