Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to manage the Starshield service provider network supporting national security missions. You will be involved in enhancing network design and deploying improved capabilities while ensuring the network's performance and security.

The ideal candidate has extensive networking experience, with skills in Layer-1 technologies and a strong understanding of service provider networks. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of networking experience deploying enterprise network solutions.
• Mastery in Layer-1 technologies and datacenter interactions.
• Experience with service provider networks and security functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand network interconnections and POPs.
• Improve network performance based on metrics.
• Lead network integration and troubleshooting efforts.

Skills

Professional Layer-1 experience

Hands-on experience with datacenter deployment
