Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to deliver senior-level expertise for planning, coordinating, and sustaining major network initiatives in support of the NDOC. This is a 100% on-site role at the customer site in Bethesda, MD, within the Intelligence Community Campus.

You will lead high-availability data center environments, oversee Cisco ACI implementations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security and mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure data center networks.
• Experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus, and Catalyst platforms.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, HSRP, SNMP, and multicast.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise networks.
• Coordinate LAN/WAN infrastructure with on-site teams and cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership for Cisco ACI, routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Use ServiceNow/SolarWinds/NetBox/PRTG to monitor health and incidents.
• Prepare technical status reports and brief leadership on performance metrics.
