Job summary

RealmOne is seeking a Network Engineer to join our intelligence program supporting a key government customer in Herndon, Virginia. You will contribute to designing, implementing, and managing complex networks across a large-scale environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of routing, switching, network automation, cloud networking, and SDN, plus the ability to brief designs to review boards and deploy MPLS networks. Experience mentoring junior engineers is a plus.

Qualifications

• Eleven years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• In-depth knowledge of network architecture, design, and implementation.
• Experience creating technical documentation such as designs, implementation plans, and technical notes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex networks.
• Architect, design, and implement networks at large scale.
• Resolve complex network issues and improve network performance.
• Knowledge of routing and switching, network automation, cloud networking, and software-defined networking.
• Brief designs to review boards and deploy MPLS networks.
• Mentor junior engineers and learn new technologies.
