Job summary

Cognowiz in Saint Louis, Missouri, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Cisco Meraki and Azure networking for a large enterprise. You will oversee VPN, NAC, and security initiatives, ensuring high availability and scalable cloud connectivity.

This role requires hands-on expertise and collaboration with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud teams to deliver reliable networks for 200+ users in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/CS/Network Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Network Engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Cisco Meraki administration and support.
• Strong VPN configuration, troubleshooting, and security expertise.
• Experience configuring Microsoft Azure networking services.
• Strong routing, switching, wireless LAN/WAN skills.
• Experience with NAC solutions and policy management.
• Experience designing high-availability environments with redundancy and failover.
• Experience with ITSM processes (ServiceNow).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Cisco Meraki network infrastructure across enterprise environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot VPN connectivity and remote access solutions.
• Configure and optimize Azure networking services and cloud connectivity.
• Support NAC implementations and security policies.
• Maintain highly available network environments with redundancy and failover.
• Lead network upgrades, office relocations, expansions, and infrastructure cutovers.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and applications teams on enterprise initiatives.
• Document network diagrams and operational procedures.
• Manage incidents, changes, and service requests through ITSM processes.
• Monitor network health and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
